Benefits: Brass is a copper and zinc alloy with several advantages. It represents beauty, prosperity, and a sense of pride. For centuries, it has been employed in the production of kitchenware. Rust cannot affect brass. Unlike iron, which corrodes due to oxidation, it is safe, environmentally benign, and recyclable. Brass requires little maintenance and has a longer lifespan than other metals or alloys.
Usage: Since generations, rice and curries have been cooked mostly on brass topes, which improves the flavour of the cuisine. It can also be used to store water.
Keeping Brass Clean: If not used frequently, Brass may develop black stains. With the assistance of lemon or straightforward chemicals, brass is also easily cleaned. The pot should be washed with regular soap after each use, then dried completely before being stored in a cabinet. Keep the pot somewhere with less moisture if it isn't being used.
Preservation: Brass Tope does not require particular maintenance for preservation, but rinsing them with a cotton cloth after washing will keep them free of rust and stains. Of course, pure Brass gradually loses its colour over time.
